In the last video, we walked through how to add and modify the content for each page for the website. Now it's time to review how to refine the overall design of your website. Let’s get started!

Hey, welcome back! You're almost halfway through setting up your website and being ready to launch. Now we're gonna look at how you can customize your website's global settings, like fonts and colors, and connect your social media channels and more. Again, no rush, just watch the video or follow this page as you go through finishing your website design.
1. Understanding Your Website's Global Settings
In the top menu, select design. This is where you’ll find all the global options for your website template’s design. When you make changes here, you are changing the colors, fonts, and styling, for your entire website.
A quick reminder: You can also modify design settings on individual blocks of your website which will override your global design settings.
2. The Design Section Options
Make sure to spend time in the design section to explore the available options and get your look and feel just right for your business.
3. Updating the Settings Section
Now, let's work on your Website ‘settings’. Click on the top menu option called ‘settings’, it’s next to ‘design’.
In the first tab, you can add or edit social media icons that display on your website.
In the second tab, you can also add or edit ‘site links’ which are large call outs that stick to your website navigation. These are great for important pieces of information, like a booking button or your phone number.
In the third tab, you can customize and enable or disable ‘on site search’ and the ‘view cart” icon.
In the fourth tab, you can add or edit blog widgets, such as to display an archive or related posts.
In the fifth tab, you can set up 301 redirects for you website. great if you are moving platform but want to make sure indexed pages still connect to new pages on your site or changed titles urls.
Finally, in the sixth tab, you can easily reset your website and start over from scratch with a different template. You'll need to enter your credentials to proceed. More details on how to restart your website.
